Vision

To serve as the leading organization in driving Thailand’s power sector toward energy security, stability, and competitiveness, in alignment with the National Energy Plan, grounded in innovation, collaboration, and social and environmental responsibility, with the aim of achieving a sustainable energy future.

Mission

  1. To act as a central platform for integrating collaboration among power developers, government agencies, industry, academic institutions, and stakeholders in order to propose and jointly develop national energy policies and strategies.
  2. To support the formulation of national electricity policies and market structures through policy recommendations and academic insights, enhancing energy security, competitiveness, and a conducive environment for sustainable market and structural development.
  3. To drive the transition toward clean energy systems and a low-carbon society by promoting technologies, innovations, and best practices that support low-carbon objectives.
  4. To strengthen knowledge, capabilities, and the resilience of association members in preparation for future changes in the power industry.

Objective

  1. To serve as a central hub for the exchange of information, knowledge, and policy recommendations among private power producers.
  2. To develop and present policy proposals and academic information to government agencies on key electricity-related issues.
  3. To contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the power sector in alignment with the country’s Net Zero targets.
  4. To promote education, development, and knowledge exchange in future energy technologies and innovations to enhance the competitiveness of Thailand’s power industry.
  5. To enhance the image and credibility of the private power generation industry through communication, public relations, and community engagement, fostering social acceptance.
